Another reminder of the unecessary rubbish carried around in packs by military unfortunates, the contents of which are decided by a committee.
Recall "Andy's" book where they started off with near 200lbs on their backs, tho apparently the hooded Gore-Tex jackets that would have saved the exposure deaths/loss of efficiency were too heavy.
