Speaking as a sailor, Ralph Peters is wrong. Boghammers are no threat at 200 meters. And they were within seconds of being fired upon. If we're going to sink some Iranians, I would rather pick our own time. Lets take out the entire Iranian Navy, Air Force and Shore installations if we have to actually fire on them. Its not a lack of nerve, but a good sense of "when to shoot". We will use the appropriate amount of force against the appropriate threat. Its not worth a Standard missile or Harpoon to sink a speed boat and it would only provide the Iranians a propaganda victory in the press. And like it or not, those it takes balls to take a speed boat against a cruiser. Those speed boat pilots earned their bragging rights at the next goat orgy.
